Harry H. Price opened his produce prepackaging business in the Dallas Farmers Market at 2112 Cadiz.  The company specialized in packaging tomatoes, potatoes, oranges, grapefruit and apples.  Mr. Price’s son Harold and Kyle E. Muennink, a trusted manager, incorporated Harry H. Price & Son, Inc. in 1969.  Their customer base included large retail stores and smaller local produce establishments in North and East Texas.  Kyle acquired majority ownership in 1970 and his son, John E. Muennink, joined the firm in 1973 and succeeded his father in 1984 as president, moving the operations to 1608 South Harwood Street.  The 1980’s brought a grandson into the company.  Kyle J. Mullenix succeeded his uncle as president upon John’s retirement in 2005.  In 2007 the company expanded beyond the Dallas market and purchased the Oklahoma City facility, becoming Price Fresh Pak.  Harry H. Price & Son & Price Fresh Pak continues to be a family-owned business that provides fine produce and exemplary customer service.
